The former Hurricane came into the game with 14 receptions and two touchdowns and appears well on his way to a Pro Bowl season.

University of Miami Hall of Famer Santana Moss extended the @ProCanes streak of consecutive regular season weeks with a UM alum scoring a touchdown to 143 in early NFL action on Sunday (Oct. 2).

Moss did not need much time to get on the scoreboard. Skins QB Rex Grossman hit him in the near corner of the end zone with 5:43 second remaining in the first quarter. The score gave the Skins a 7-0 lead on the St. Louis Rams.
The unprecedented streak was started in week 15 of 2002 by Clinton Portis, when he had four TDs for the Denver Broncos
Fourteen players from the 2010 Miami football team have signed contracts with NFL teams.
Allen Bailey (Chiefs), Matt Bosher (Falcons), Brandon Harris (Texans), Colin McCarthy (Titans), DeMarcus Van Dyke (Raiders), Richard Gordon (Raiders), Leonard Hankerson (Redskins) and Orlando Franklin (Broncos) were drafted.
Damien Berry (Ravens), Graig Cooper (Eagles), Ryan Hill (Vikings), Cory Nelms (49ers), Pat Hill (Titans) and most recently Jared Campbell (Cardinals) all signed free agent contracts and are currently in training camps.
Campbell is reunited with his brother, Calais Campbell, who is a budding star for Arizona.
UM currently has 53 alums on NFL rosters.

Canes alum and Pro Bowl linebacker Jon Beason signed a five year contract extension that will keep one of the NFL’s best linebackers with the Panthers for a long time.
According to NFL.com, he is the highest paid middle linebacker in the league.
Last season Beason had 162 tackles while working at both middle and outside linebacker. He has been named to the Pro Bowl roster each of the last three seasons.
A Beautiful Sight: DeMarcus Van Dyke (@D_VanDyke8) signs his first professional contract with the Oakland Raiders.
Congrats!!!
